Behind the scenes at a Little Greene press event…

June 21st, 2023
Little Greene

We invited a selection of press guests to visit our paint factory for a behind-the-scenes tour. The event gave our guests the opportunity to see how we create our eco-friendly paints.

Situated in the foothills of Mount Snowdon in North Wales, it provided an idyllic location to enjoy a press dinner surrounded by vibrant Little Greene colours and wallpapers, as well as a peaceful forest bathing experience…

An Inside View of our Manufacturing Process

At Little Greene, our dedicated team handcraft all of our paints in our own factory in Bethesda, North Wales. We use the finest ingredients to create high-quality paints that are kind to the planet and stand the test of time.

Much of our manufacturing process is still completed by hand. We work on a small scale, to ensure quality control and to minimise any paint wastage. Each tin of paint is tinted to order. So, when you buy paint from Little Greene, you receive a completely bespoke product for your project.

During the press event, our Operations Director, Ben, led the guests around the factory, where they were able to watch the whole manufacturing process. They observed everything from measuring and mixing the ingredients to filling our recyclable paint tins ready to be tinted.

An Opportunity to Enjoy Beautiful Surroundings

Afterwards, we invited guests to a dinner overlooking the scenic Conwy Estuary.

The table dressings presented a vibrant celebration of colour. The chairs, tablecloths and place settings showcased an array of Little Greene shades to emulate colour drenched interior design schemes.

Paint colours such as Atomic Red, Yellow-Pink, Carmine, Light Peachblossom, Grey Stone and Hicks’ Blue created a striking display that tied into the magnificent backdrop of a giant Little Greene colour card.

Complementary floral arrangements from The Flower Lounge were placed in Little Greene paint tins to complete the scheme.

Bathing in Nature

The following day, we offered two activity options for our guests. Adrenaline seekers embarked on an exciting zip wire activity, while those who preferred a gentler pace enjoyed an immersive forest experience.

The ‘forest bathing’ took place in the tranquil, verdant surroundings of Gwydir Forest Park. Here, guests could spend time experiencing the restorative qualities of nature.

Consider ways to immerse yourself in the natural world with our collection of Forest-inspired interiors.
